On Tuesday 19th March, Year 1 visited the tallest building in Bangkok, the MahaNakon, to finish their ‘Building’ topic. They started by standing at the bottom of the building to look up and see how tall it was. After that they used the lift that has spectacular views of the city and travels at about 480 metres a minute. From the observatory room they explored the city through interactive displays and taking in the breath taking 360 views. Soon after they went up to the 78th floor where they could stand on a glass floor to get even more exciting views! The children also had the opportunity to record their trip with cameras and an observational drawing.
