Safeguarding
At Kids Academy Srinakarin we have a child centred and coordinated approach to safeguarding. It is our belief that every child feels safe and happy within our school and this is everyones responsibility.
“We have a childcentred and co-ordinated approach.”
Kids Academy is commited to the safety and child protection to all of students. We understand that a strong community establishes a secure, safe and trusting environment and therefore welcome active participation within our Kids Academy community.

Staff Training
All members of staff receive child protection and safeguarding training when they join the school and complete refresher training every year.
This means that every adult in our community knows:
-
How to recognise signs that a child may need help
-
How to respond appropriately and sensitively
-
How to report concerns quickly and correctly
-
How to maintain professional and safe boundaries
We also provide ongoing professional development to ensure our team remains up to date with current safeguarding guidance and best practice.
Safe Recruitment
We carefully screen all staff, contractors and volunteers before they begin working at the school.
Our recruitment process includes:
-
Criminal background checks
-
Reference checks
-
Verification of qualifications and identity
-
Safeguarding declarations
No adult is permitted to work with children until all checks have been completed and approved.
Continuous Review and Improvement
Safeguarding is not something we review once a year, it is part of our daily culture.
We regularly review our policies and procedures to ensure they remain strong, effective and aligned with international standards. School leaders monitor safeguarding closely and make improvements whenever needed.
At Kids Academy, safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. We work in partnership with families to ensure that every child feels safe, respected and able to thrive.
If you ever have a concern or question regarding your child’s wellbeing, please contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead or the Head of School immediately.
